Im Jahr 2005 kam das erste Ouessantpärchen zu uns auf den Ahornhof. Seit dem züchten wir Ouessantschafe in einer kleinen familiären Zucht. Die zugekauften Tiere - vor allem die Böcke - stammen aus holländischen Linien. Wir achten auf typvolle, kleine Elterntiere, die der Rassebeschreibung entsprechen. Unsere Tiere werden regelmäßig entwurmt, die Klauen werden gepflegt und natürlich werden die Schafe ein mal im Jahr geschoren. Ouessantschafe vom Ahornhof - Dr. med.vet. Tjorven Matzke-Brüggemann.

Ouessantschapen van de Twizelhioeve. Donderdag 14 januari 2016. Van dag was er weer winterzonnetje. Dus de meiden maar fotograferen . De jongens zijn deze Winter in Noord Bergum. Daar ga ik morgen of van het weekeind weer foto's maken. De meiden mogen in de winter op het speelveld. Dit is Loesje van de Twizelhoeve. Maar ja wat doe je met weiland? Conclusie: de mickey mouse(Ouesschapen) zijn de leukste schapen in de onderhoud en ze zijn gezellig aanhangelijk , je kan ze bijna gezellschaps-dieren noemen.
