Longstanton Parish Council wish to make the parishioners of Longstanton aware that the case with respect to the previous clerk is still open and has never been closed. With a recent change in investigating officer, he has taken the investigation back to the CPS and they have stated that they have further questions they wish to be clarified. With this, the police may be continuing their investigations further.
