Random Thoughts from Space. Friday, July 17, 2009. As most of you know, I have been battling with insomnia for the last few weeks. I had someone recommend that try Ambien, but the problem is that I have already tried going down that road. So, I thought I would share my hallucination story with you all. I actually felt like she was tugging on me trying to pull me off the bed! She was dressed and looked EXACTLY like one of the twin girls from "The Shining.". So, yeah, Ambien doesn't really help me sleep.

Random Thoughts from Space. Monday, April 6, 2009. Some People Should Not Be Allowed To Drive. My drive to work today inspired me to write a new blog. Take a second to look back at the beginning of this post, it's ok, I'll wait for you to look. That's right, I am on the Eastbound side of I-565. People are actually slowing down and stopping, on the interstate, to look at a wreck that is on the other side of the freaking freeway! This is not the end of the story though, it gets better.

This past weekend was exhausting. My original plan was to paint our master bedroom Friday night and all day Saturday so I could get it finished and have time Sunday afternoon to cut grass. I just finished reading another awesome book, The Road. By Cormac McCarthy. It's a post-apocalyptic story about a father and son traveling across a burnt-out USA. It's. Heavy and disturbing, but man is it good. It's not very long (I read it in about 2 days), and it moves really quickly. I highly recommend it. Tuesday, 1 October 2013. Bolt Action - A Review of the rules. Rally – This dice rallies a unit with lots of pin markers but requires a morale roll. If you pass remove a pin, then remove D6 worth of pins. Ie: roll a D6 and remove that amount of pin markers from that unit. If you fail, do not remove any pins and change the order to down!
