Grace, Tracie, Sarah, peg, Alana, Nancy, lesa, and her kids Ashley, Ethan, and Daniel all came along. Ethan and Daniel joined grace, Tracie and I to try and make it to the 10,700 foot peak. Traveling the North Cascades Hwy. August 1, 2015. For the past few weeks Eric and I have been discussing going out on a day trip up through the North Cascades Hwy. He has been on the highway on his motorcycle a few times and thought we’d love to see it for ourselves. We got up early and got on our way by 9 am The road trip was hard on Em who gets super car sick. She was a trouper but we still felt bad that the winding roads made her feel bad. Our week started off a tad bit cooler which we all liked but by today it was back to being sweltering. Feeling like one is melting is miserable. Living in the bedroom where the only AC unit is located is miserable. Sleeping with fans on only makes one’s nose stuffed up. Or maybe that’s just me? Welcome to our family blog. August 3, 2015. Today we hooked up with the Grandparents and Grace to take a flight at iFly. I won’t post tons of pictures like last time. All three girls did a wonderful job and have improved since last time. They were all relaxed and flew very well. What surprised us the most was Jennifer. I warned her that the first time seemed to be the most difficult and there might be some struggles. Ha! I was wrong. The girl got in there and flew above the instructor like a pro. Someone is ready to rock and roll!
