Berliad's Blog: NWN Module Review: Prophet II - The Century of Sorrow by Baldecaran
http://berliad.blogspot.com/2015/03/nwn-module-review-prophet-ii-century-of.html
Commentary on games and gaming. Saturday, March 7, 2015. NWN Module Review: Prophet II - The Century of Sorrow by Baldecaran. Mysterious ruins once again play a critical role in this module. This meant my character wasn't as well equipped, but it made sense to keep the enemies on him: he had more HP, and if the foes were targeting him then I could sneak attack them. I love Baldecaran's use of the mountain tileset. My rating: 8 - Recommended to Anyone. More screenshots after the jump! You can find him @.

Berliad's Blog: B2: Keep on the Borderlands
http://berliad.blogspot.com/2007/06/b2-keep-on-borderlands.html
Commentary on games and gaming. Friday, June 8, 2007. B2: Keep on the Borderlands. I finished Enoa4's B2: Keep on the Borderlands. This earlier this week, but between following the baseball first year players draft and responding to an interview for the Vault, I'm just now getting a chance to write up my comments. It was a fun module, and is worth checking out if you're up for some low-level hack and slash fun. 7 - Very Good, Deserves a Look. Finally, there still seemed to be a fair number of polish issu...

Berliad's Blog: Cry Wolf
http://berliad.blogspot.com/2007/05/cry-wolf.html
Commentary on games and gaming. Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Last night I played Cry Wolf. By Lorft, which was surprisingly good given how little attention it has received from the player base. The vote of 7 might have been a bit conservative.I'm more and more enthusiastic about the module the more I think about it. Nevertheless, it doesn't quite rise to the level of something that I'd recommend to anyone.though I certainly think everyone should give it a look. :) My comments:. May 16, 2007 at 1:57 PM. And y...

Berliad's Blog: Daark Twins
http://berliad.blogspot.com/2007/07/daark-twins.html
Commentary on games and gaming. Friday, July 20, 2007. Also among modules that I played over a week ago, but never got a chance to write comments for, is Daark Twins. By E C. Patterson (aka ciViLiZed). Despite what you might assume from the author's 133t-speak handle, this was a well-done module, with professional-feeling polish and a surprise at its end. My comments:. 7 - Deserves a Look. Included character, lv. 5 wizard Jacob Daark. V11, released 23 June 2007. December 21, 2007 at 12:46 PM. Neverwinter...

Berliad's Blog: Asylum: A Bet, A Corpse
http://berliad.blogspot.com/2007/01/asylum-bet-corpse.html
Commentary on games and gaming. Thursday, February 1, 2007. Asylum: A Bet, A Corpse. I planned to start up Pool of Radiance tonight, but ended up playing this shorter module. My Vote: 8 - Excellent, Recommended to Anyone. Thanks for this module! I honestly had no idea what to expect when I started it, and I found it to be far better than I'd dared hope it might be. I hadn't expected to give votes of 8 or higher to a module this short, but this earned it. Looking forward to the next one! You can find him @.

Berliad's Blog: Review: Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
http://berliad.blogspot.com/2013/06/review-baldurs-gate-enhanced-edition.html
Commentary on games and gaming. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Review: Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. The fight was so frustrating that I decided to take a break from the game. I moved on to Fallout 2 (IIRC), and I never came back to it.*. As an aside, and perhaps as a fine demonstration of my relative lack of skill with games and thinking, it didn't occur to me until years later to get those skeletons to chase me back up the hallway. And yeah, that worked rather well this time around! The combat throughout wa...
