Life Happens: Monday in My Coffee Cup
http://charlie-quillen.blogspot.com/2012/02/monday-in-my-coffee-cup.html
Writing. Books. Life. Monday in My Coffee Cup. Today I am drinking Pike Place Roast from Starbucks. It is absolutely delicious. Today I am also starting the last two weeks before I have to be finished cleaning/packing/painting/purging in order to be ready for my cross-country move. I can no longer sit the days away just thinking. About the move. I must act. This means I can still have my morning coffee and check blogs - just not for three hours. So today I take my inspiration from a simple Anne Frank.

In depth reviews of coffee shops in the Seattle area with no holds barred. Thursday, April 1, 2010. So last night, my wife dragged me to a John Mayer concert. That was one end of a burning candle. Then this morning, I needed to drag my kindergartner out of bed to finish her math homework. That was the other end of the burning candle. My groggy head was at the middle. When the coffee was released through the valve into the top compartment, I thought something was wrong because of the brown color instead o...

Now Entering Crow Country. Friday, March 27, 2009. Home Sick But More Productive? Why is it that when I stay home sick from work I tend to get more done than I do on weekends? It's not a mental health day. I'm legitimately sick. Stuffy nose, sore throat, super tired, etc. So far today I have:. Started a load of dishes. Addressed a bunch of cards I wrote during the week and meant to send out. Walked those cards to the mailbox. Installed the charged battery into the motorcycle. Thursday, March 26, 2009.

Preface: The following is an essay I wrote for a recent (awesome) class on cultural exegesis. -ec. If you haven’t inherited grandma’s love of PBS’s “Antiques Roadshow” in the past decade, maybe you’ll like a wily gang of burly, tattooed, middle-aged men raiding auctioned-off storage units in California. What’s the strategy? Often the competition is not...

Seattle Coffee Roast: How to tell if your coffee is fresh
http://seattlecoffeeroast.blogspot.com/2009/04/how-to-tell-if-your-coffee-is-fresh.html
In depth reviews of coffee shops in the Seattle area with no holds barred. Monday, April 6, 2009. How to tell if your coffee is fresh. Late last week, I was running low on beans and just happened to be in Seattle, so I dropped by Stumptown Roasters. Enough rambling, on to he reason for the post: freshly roasted coffee. The primary way to tell if coffee is fresh without even tasting it is to watch it when it is brewing. Take a look at this video:. This is some Honduras Finca El Puente. Posted by Mike Rupp.
