He is such a sweet, good natured baby, now if we can only get him to sleep through the night! Windows Into Our World. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Even my pediatrician commented the other day, "Wow, so you don't get a break! It kinda made me laugh, why are we all so focused on getting a break.like it is the ultimate reality. I mean getting a break is a great thing, and a fun luxury, but not always necessary. Windows Into Our World. Friday, March 23, 2012. The house is a wreck in a great way. Our spare bedroom is piled high with stuff. We are purging and cleaning and giving away and it feels great. I think there are two great disadvantages of having a fairly large house. 1 Cleaning. Ugh. This place can be a beast to clean. Windows Into Our World. Monday, June 20, 2011. The Cuz Gets Married. At the end of May we journeyed up to TN to celebrate Jon and Leigha's wedding. The girls love their cousins, Jon, Josh and Jacob, and their cousins are super sweet to them them. Now the girls finally have a girl cousin and they are super excited about it. Welcome to our new Chinese city. Beijing with its complex dumplings and classic ducks and giant pancakes folded into sandwich bags. With its pirate-pronounced Mandarin all heavy with R's and weather bursting with the sun and the wind. There is still bad air. So bad that it keeps us inside until we want to knock down the walls and run for the hills. (Except that we’ve heard the air is bad there too.).
