I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 17 September, after almost a month of tests and tentative diagnosis. After initially thinking "I'm going to di-i-i-e-e! I have tried to keep a positive outlook and as I am on paid sick leave for 6 months, at least I have lots of time to knit and work my way through my stash.
