About CMTA Charleston Music Teachers Association. Founded over 50 years ago in the early 1960’s, the Charleston Music Teachers Association has approximately 50 members representing all areas of the Tri-county region. Our monthly meetings are held on the second Friday of the month, September – May, at Fox Music House, 3005 West Montague Ave, Charleston 29418. Social time with refreshments begins at 9:30 am, and the business meeting and program, at 10:00. And the Music Teachers National Association.
