August 30, 2008. Using Groovy with Hudson to send rich text email. 8212; Chetan @ 7:27 pm. Recently I migrated from CruiseControl to Hudson as our CI build server. One thing I found lacking in Hudson. Was to send rich text email containing information regarding changelist details, test result etc. The email extender plugin do provide few variables to be inserted into the mail but that is very limiting. So I modified the plugin to send HTML email which were generated using Groovy. The email generated has f...

Idea Symposium: On Intelligence
http://epsteinzone.blogspot.com/2006/06/on-intelligence.html
Saturday, June 24, 2006. The core component of the human brain is the neo-cortex. That's where most of the action is! It has 6 layers, from L1 to L6. Hawkins demonstrates how different regions of the cortex are hierarchically related. He further illustrates how information is hierarchically stored to mirror the hierarchy of reality! And how do we recognize patterns in reality? Anyone read this or books touching on similar subject matter? Posted by David Epstein @ 7:48 PM. At Sat Jun 24, 11:59:00 PM PDT.

Inviting Engagement, Performance and Learning. August 26, 2016. Still churning through all the ideas and connections that popped up at the Agile2016. Conference in July. Collaborated with Mark Kilby. On the design and facilitation of a two-part session on distributed Agile teamwork, in the Audacious Salon track. Flew drones in the hotel with Tim Ottinger and friends. Josh Kerievsky’s keynote presentation of Modern Agile. I’ve shared much of this (but not the drones) on a new Agile Practice Library. By Hi...

Shinsato Stuff: February 2006
http://shinsato.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Just some stuff meant to inspire and benefit friends, family, and kindred souls. Monday, February 27, 2006. Fertilizing your brain garden. But the implications can hardly be emphasized enough. A great article on Kathy Sierra's blog. Shows that being in an office cubical can cause brain damage, or something very much akin to it. Isn't it strange that so much creative intellectual work would be done in cubicles? Or is it really productive work after all? Another great blog post from Kathy. Studied one grou...

Shinsato Stuff: October 2005
http://shinsato.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Just some stuff meant to inspire and benefit friends, family, and kindred souls. Friday, October 28, 2005. What benefits the reader? Read an excellent post. Today on Kathy Sierra's Creating Passionate Users Blog. It's a good question though, what benefits the reader? Who is the reader? That could benefit the reader. Like knowing that I've got a new niece on the east coast, the lovely Emma Julia Shinsato, born October 17th. What if the readers are techno geeks like myself? I mentioned earlier. Definit...

Just some stuff meant to inspire and benefit friends, family, and kindred souls. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. This time of year, between the gift exchanges and the New Year, the resolutions start to congeald and bubble to the surface. The feelings about doing better this year, making it better. Like writing better and more frequent blog entries, and getting some pictures in here. Let's take care of that one now. The future is not in getting a job, we have to think different for our kids. Just some stuff meant to inspire and benefit friends, family, and kindred souls. Friday, April 28, 2006. Blog moved to shinsato.com. The Shinsato Stuff blog will now be updated at shinsato.com. Thanks to Troy Worman at 100bloggers.com. Who made the switch from 100bloggers.blogspot.com, which was the inspiration for the change.

Shinsato Stuff: November 2005
http://shinsato.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Just some stuff meant to inspire and benefit friends, family, and kindred souls. Friday, November 25, 2005. This week my wife and I have been traveling between relations in the midwest, and right now I'm fortunate enough to be at the keyboard of a relative who has DSL! A few days ago in a midwest mall, I gladly paid three dollars for a couple hours of wireless internet access just to access email. I did this a few times, even when I could only use ten minutes of the two hours slots. I did this for about ...
