The guilt and shame aside, I was really excited to attend the event. I had so many expectations, I knew I would eat a lot, meet fellow foodies and just be in food heaven. All those came to be but not in the same measure I had imagined it to be. There weren’t as many food vendors as I thought there would be, but those that were there had a lot to offer. I have always had this theory that what an oven can do, so can a jiko. So I figured I could try out that theory with chicken. I wasn’t quite sure how I’d do it, I went ahead and marinated the chicken the night before. Get your hands dirty and mix everything up.
