The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians: October 2013
http://periodicgeek.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. This blog hasn't been updated in a long while. so what happened? It's no secret that The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians exists to fund the RiteCare Centers for Childhood Language Disabilities. The thing is, it's pretty time consuming and labor-intensive to come up with designs and products that haven't really sold that well (with a couple of exceptions). Posted by Dave Leigh. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Don't want the merchandise, but do want to contribute? Masters of Song Fu.

________SpinTunes: SpinTunes #2 Planning: Discussion
http://spintunes.blogspot.com/2010/08/spintunes-2-planning-discussion.html
Monday, August 2, 2010. SpinTunes #2 Planning: Discussion. I figured it was as good a time as any to start planning the next edition of SpinTunes while Kevin and Ross are hard at work. There are a lot of things that could be changed before the next competition starts. Some of them large issues, but most of them small tweaks. This blog will be divided into 3 parts:. 1 Things that I've already decided on. 2 Possible major changes. 3 Possible minor changes. These are things that could change the whole struc...

The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: #2
http://periodicgeek.blogspot.com/2011/05/wolfgang-amadeus-mozart-2.html
Friday, May 20, 2011. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: #2. If you're a musician, prepare to be intimidated. If you're a listener, prepare to be AMAZED. This week's installment of the Periodic Table features none other than Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the premier Geek Musician of all time, and the inaugural member of the "Noble Geek" group. I know, I know. you're thinking "Huh? Some stuffy classical composer? Not on your LIFE, people! This man's work literally defines. Mozart's music has a quality that is nearly unm...

The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians: Craig Bevan: #13
http://periodicgeek.blogspot.com/2011/05/craig-bevan-13.html
Saturday, May 14, 2011. I have a confession to make. Normally, I try to post these folks in roughly the order in which they've signed up (and there's a link up above if you'd like to show up on the Table); but Craig Bevan, element #13, wasn't next on the list. Here's the true story of how Craig came to be on PeriodicGeek this week. My wife lobbied for it. By "lobbied" for it I mean that she determined to make my life a living hell if Craig weren't next up on the blog. See what I mean? So please click thr...

The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians: About
http://periodicgeek.blogspot.com/p/about.html
I'm Dave Leigh, aka the vocal half of the songwriting team Dr. Lindyke. While not programming or writing songs, I also spend a portion of my free time supporting a charity called Rite Care Centers for Childhood Language Disorders. Rite Care provides speech and language therapy to pre-school children without regard to race, creed, or the family's inability to pay. It's funded entirely by members of the Scottish Rite through various fund-raising projects (not all of which are as harebrained as this one).

The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians: Boffo Yux Dudes: #107
http://periodicgeek.blogspot.com/2011/02/boffo-yux-dudes-107.html
Sunday, February 13, 2011. Boffo Yux Dudes: #107. In our most ironic placement to date, the Boffo Yux Dudes check in as #107 on our Periodic Table, the spot reserved for Bohrium on a periodic table of the elements. Ironic because "boring" isn't an adjective usually applied to these. erm. gentlemen. Wacky. yes. Irreverent. yes. Totally off their nut. now you're talking! I vehemently disagree. they're not that. Much more cynical. (whistles idly). And " The Ballad of Henry Pym. They have a YouTube Channel!

The Periodic Table of Geek Musicians: December 2011
http://periodicgeek.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Jason Morris is the consumate musician. He's a composer, drummer, singer, guitarist, and does everything incredibly well. The very fact that he participated in The Masters of Song Fu #2. Gives him indisputable street cred among musicians and geeks alike. The fact that he lost to the Rifftones in the final round with a respectable vote tally means he has chops. Great, big, powerful Chuck Norris. Jason also competed in Masters of Song Fu #5. A squid who brings toys to the chil...
