Wednesday, April 28, 2010. They Can't Take That Away. They sang "America the Beautiful" and some folk songs, and then there was an announcement that there would be two more songs. A couple of months ago, I gave up political comments for lent, and my blood pressure was so grateful that I have continued that practice. But I have no reservations in saying,. Sunday, July 4, 2010. As An Athlete, Getting Old. Which brings us to the main outlet available to me these days- running/walking. Even when I was a good athlete, I hated those things! I know there is a "runner's high" that serious runners achieve and can't do without. I don't ever expect to experience that high! I don't do tennis, weights, ski on any surface. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. OK I made a VERY big move for my career and family this week. I moved salons. I am very excited and a little nervous about it. Please check it out! The salon is so warm and welcoming, and everyone there is very friendly. One of my very good friends, Summer just moved over there too.
