Where does your Money go? St Monica’s School. St Monica’s School is located in Kibera, Kenya. Kibera is Africa’s largest slum housing 100,000 orphaned children who do not receive basic food or education. The school educates 90 children aged 3-11 years, many of which are living with HIV/AIDS, orphans, and others from poor families. The school consists of three classrooms, a kitchen, two toilets and an office. The school has one qualified teacher and two trainee teachers. Designed by Couture Web Limited.

Where does your Money go? Destiny Junior Education Centre. Destiny Junior Education Centre is located in the Mathare slums of Nairobi, Kenya. The school was founded in 2013 by Judith Odero after realising there was a need for more schools in the local area. Judith shared her vision with Joyce Maina, Austin Ajowi and a number of community members and together they rented a building to open a school in January 2013. Destiny Junior Education Centre is also supported by local community members.
