Philosophical Enquiry | Thinking Space

http://thinkingspace.org.uk/about-philosophical-enquiry

What is philosophical enquiry? Thinking Space specialises in philosophical enquiry with children and adults. We use a range of strategies to help people tackle philosophical issues; the most recognisable is ‘Community of Philosophical Enquiry’ sometimes abbreviated as P4C (“Philosophy for Children/Communities”). Participants generate new ideas, put old ideas together in new ways and see things differently. They pull ideas apart, scrutinize them and make judgments. Philosophy for Children: The Evidence.

Blog | Thinking Space

http://thinkingspace.org.uk/category/blog

Permalink to Philosophy Clubs. August 30, 2016. What if you spent your half term doing something different? What if you spent it wondering, imagining, and exploring? Hosted by local venues, Thinking Space Philosophy Clubs are a series of workshops run by friendly philosophers. They are a place to meet other people your age and to talk about questions that are so interesting they’ll will make your head explode and (sometimes) so silly they’ll make your slides split. How long is forever? July 23, 2015.

Emotions and the embodied mind | Playground philosopher

https://playgroundphilosopher.wordpress.com/2012/06/05/emotions-and-the-embodied-mind

Finding the philosophy in picture-books. Emotions and the embodied mind. June 5, 2012. No picture books today, but instead a contemplation of emotions and the mind/body. The ’embodied mind’ thesis is that the nature of the human mind (including our concepts, reasoning, will and emotion) is largely determined by the form of the human body (including our bodily movement, perception and interactions with the environment). What sort of bodily responses accompany your emotional states? Draw anything you wish.

Vertices Unite – min anbefaling til sommerstrik med indbygget medvind. Dansede over mine ferieramte og let dovne strikkepinde.
