That is the thing with chemo. It is sometimes difficult to "plan" for anything. I'd say, "Okay, today at 7pm I am going to update the website." And then at 6:30 pm, I'd be toast energy-wise. But today, I have the time and energy! How am I doing? Though I don't have a set date, the mastectomy and reconstruction will probably be sometime...

Friday, May 29, 2009. May 29 I went in for an ultrasound biopsy. They numb the area and then put a needle in your body to take samples of the suspect tissue. I was very nervous, but it was not as bad as I had imagined. When they take the sample it sounds like a stapler. Or maybe an ear piercing. This paragraph not for the faint: Because there were two spots, and they were hoping to just do one incision, they had to put the needle in pretty far. When they took the first sample of the 2nd spot I JUMPED!
