About Us – Yusuf Youth Initiative

The Yusuf Youth Initiative (YYI) was set up in 2004 by a group of young enthusiasts who are driven by the desire to work for their community and improve their society. The group have undertaken a number of community projects on a local and national scale. Isa started off as a volunteer and after completing his studies as a Social Worker joined the team as the Youth Development Officer. Isa is responsible for developing and managing our youth and volunteer programs. Future Leaders Academy Co-ordinator.

We have 5 clubs supporting young people aged 5-18 years old. The weekly programme incorporates a variety of projects such as disability awareness, health & wellbeing and anti-poverty campaigns. The youth clubs also incorporate sports and occasional trips, as well as assisting the young people in organising their own events.
