Sunday, May 10, 2009. Links to this post. A Daddy and A College Graduate. Hello all. This Saturday Jay graduated from Rice University. Jackson was able to meet his Aunt LaSandra, Cousins Miste, Kendra, Danese, Donese, and Aunt Quel as they all travelled to Houston to support Jay. It was really great to have so much support. I don't know, I suppose it's tradition and worth it for that reason. Also, on a personal not, worth getting to see the smile on Jay's face, it was a proud moment. Thank you Aunt Sally.

Friday, April 10, 2009. Well I'm officially a working mother! I returned to work on Monday and was surprised to find that it would be a four day weekend. I had completely forgotten that there would be no school on Good Friday. Whew, was I relieved, but now I'm wishing I had every Friday off. A four day work week seems like enough!
