Another misty morning and another day of hills. The mist took a long time to clear, but at least the hills had the decency to go away for a time in the middle. It’s been a long day, and I could fall asleep any minute. So night night. Lots of shady roads today. Had a snack here. But didn’t make it to Knob Lick down the road…. Really, this is too big!

As you can see from the map, the cycle routes are not always straight east-west, which is why I covered nearly 4000 miles by the time I cold see the Atlantic Ocean. The advantage is that they’re well mapped and follow mainly scenic byways. Here’s a link to the ACA overview map.
