Friday, March 15, 2013. A Brand New Anterior Cruciate Ligament. It happened. Scott had surgery on his knee and came away with a brand new Anterior Cruciate Ligament. Saturday, March 08, 2014. As you may recall, Santa Claus brought these kids tickets to Disneyland for Christmas! We entered the park with everyone happy and excited and honestly had a perfect day at Disneyland. The kids were really good. The weather was awesome. There were no lines. On December 27, 2013 Fred and Rama celebrated 50 years since they were married with me, Scott, Alan and a couple bags of take out Chinese food at their kitchen table. Monday, August 19, 2013. First Day of School. We started a new school year just two days after the half marathon, on August 19. We were all ready and excited. Thursday, October 31, 2013. Halloween was once again a whirlwind of dressing up kids and attending parades and parties. And once again, I loved it. And I even loved all the candy for a full month after. I just really like those fun sized candy bars, you know. We started Halloween off by getting all of our pumpkins carved and out on the porch. Scott worked hard on two pumpkins with Red Sox designs while he watched playoff and World Series games. We were done and everyone was happy. Ava as a flamingo.

Thursday, February 28, 2013. A Happy Valentine's Day. Our Valentine's Day was a lovely day. Perfectly lovely. We started the festivities a week early at our Playgroup Valentine's Party. I hosted this one. We knew there were going to be a TON of kids so I opted for the church instead of my house. It is a good thing! The kids got to start the day out sweet - Pink Cherry Pop Tarts and Pink Strawberry milk for breakfast. They were happy and quite shocked too - all that delicious pink SUGAR for breakfast?
