Friday, August 7, 2015. Hawaii Day 14 - Sunset, Matsumoto, Turtles. Today we had a "busy" day. We were lazy to begin with. Then we were off to Sunset beach. Big waves, with a big undertow, and a steep drop off. Fun for the bigger kids, not so fun for the little ones. Although, they had fun on the beach, in the sand and running from and jumping the waves. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Hawaii Day 19 - Hukilau. Today was a Hukilau day. Hukilau is seriously the best beach around. Perfect waves, good sand, nice breeze all the time, and only 3 minutes from our house (by car). It could only be better if the jelly fish would disappear and there was a bathroom. Sunday, February 19, 2012. I have been wanting to do this run for awhile now. Its for a friend of ours Susan (we all went to high school with her) who passed away from colon cancer! You can read more about her and the run here! I signed up to do the 10k with my brother and the rest did the 5k! Here we are pre-race. Not sure where dad was! And here we are after! Sunday, June 26, 2011. Wow - where did June go? The new house is coming right along. Even with several weather issues and changes in schedule, we should still be in by late October. They poured the floor for the garage this last week and I took the kids one by one and had them each make a hand print.in the far corner of the garage. We went back to see the finished product all dried today after church. I sure love my little family. I'm so grateful that the gospel is all about second chances. :).

But the neck is getting too small and the bib part is too short to really keep Norah clean. In addition to those complaints, the sleeves are too short and too tight. If you have a serger, then serging the edges all the way around is the easiest. If you don't, then just zig zig stitch around the edges. Any of these things will work. Here is the finished smock-b...

The story of those I love and the life we live. Friday, August 31, 2012. Lots of Dill Pickles! Dill Pickles (8 Quarts). 2 quarts apple cider vinegar. 2 1/2 quarts water. Combine and bring to a boil. Apple Cider Vinegar mixture getting ready to boil. Here are my cucumbers. in the second water bath with lots of ice. In bottles: Add 1 garlic bud, a sprig of dry dill (check out your local produce section), and a pearl onion to a sterilized quart jar. You can see the dill, garlic, and pearl onion in the jar.
