When we told her that she is gonna be gone for 5 months, she thought it was not a long time because she said."thats it? What airline are we taking Grandpa? Don't worry, I'll be back! I love this picture. The funny thing is that when i was crying like a little girl who got her toy taken away from a bully, all she said to me was "mommy, stop crying like a baby." I couldn't believe it.

Monday, December 17, 2007. We had snow for a day and it all washed up the next day. Her her dad enjoying the cold, winter day at home. We were heading over to her auntie's house in Shoreline when she insisted on taking the picture. Enjoying the day with her leap frog. She was just learning how to walk and so i leaned her on the wall so i can take that picture. Strike and pose. At 15 months old, i was doing her hair i thought an afro will do for that day. She was a sport! Its my real hair. This is not fake.
