Welhaven og historikeren P.A Munch stod for denne linjen sammen med fleste embetsmennene. Henrik Wergeland og Ludvig daa mente at norsk ord og uttrykk skule brukes og innføres innenfor det danske skriftspråket. 3: Helt et nytt skriftspråk.
