I'm apparently having a black &white phase going on. Oh well. Some low key -attempts then as well. This was far easier to execute with one lamp and I'm kind of digging these. Changed them to black&white. don't know which ones I prefer. Some high key -attempts for my studio course portfolio without proper studio gear (*weep*). Well better than nothing. It irks me so much how I haven't really taken any proper photos in ages. Why can't I just get "healthy" I've been sick for over 7 weeks now(!

This is what the area where the city office I work in till the beginning of July lies at looks like. I was in a major luck when I applied for jobs in the spring and ended up working as a media assistant at the city's urban planning's communications meaning it'll look good in my resume when I've got to apply for on-the-job learning later this year (yay! Took these photos with my new 35mm lens I bought on Tuesday (looking very promising! Still a bit over a week to go, can hardly understand it's almost over.

Since I wasn't absolutely dead tired after finishing up our last assignment today I decided to take some birthday portraits. I really wanted to use the absolutely lovely carnations I got as a present as props in something. Last day of school tomorrow before autumn. Just feels so surreal to be honest. Had my birthday party today (though few more days still till the real one eek). Ate a lot of good food, played badminton and twist and blew soap bubbles with the kids. This. New camou-sweater from the JC boy's department. Absolutely fell for it even though it's not black. When I put it on it just felt like it belongs on me. Beautiful viscose blend, lovely and sleek. Hair kept in a braid for several days before letting it loose. Should trim it a bit it's starting to look ridiculous. No make-up because whatever. Ihana oot :- - ). There has been a silence in here for almost two months now but with a good reason: I've been very sick for this entire time getting a new virus after another and am having my second batch of (extremely disgusting) antibiotics which gladly have apparently started to work, since I'm starting to feel that life is somewhat worth living again. Fingers crossed it's only going up from here forth. On to these lovely things. Love the colours; so vibrant! Hope you get well soon :).

Some webcam selfies from Saturday to remind me I don't always feel and look as shitty as I do now. Got diagnosed with sinusitis which is probably due to the fact I froze myself and inhaled a good amount of moldy germs during our shoot on Saturday.
