Across the Pond: My Life Abroad: A Very Harry Holiday
http://acrossthepondksheehy.blogspot.com/2015/09/a-very-harry-holiday.html
Across the Pond: My Life Abroad. An American girl with a dream to see the world. Tuesday, September 8, 2015. A Very Harry Holiday. Wing the cliffs were in this movie made them even more special. Ironically, I didn't know they were in the film and then thought the cave looked just like the movie. a quick google search told me what I suspected was true. That's the infamous horcruxe cave from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Finally, what would a trip to London be without going through platform 9 3/4?

A lovely shop that specialized in 19th Century prints. The entrance to the Shambles. The street that inspired Diagon Alley. Can I move onto this street please?

Across the Pond: My Life Abroad: Prague: Trdlo, Operas and ponies

Across the Pond: My Life Abroad. An American girl with a dream to see the world. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Prague: Trdlo, Operas and ponies. The Food stalls were all so cute and inviting: Our fave? The candied nut stall. This clock was made in the 13th century and has figures that pop out on the hour. Called the Adam and Eve towers because the right was built larger than the left. We were hard pressed to find a street that didn't have pretty buidlings. Just casually at the opera. Views of Prague Castle.

Subscribe to Across-the-Pond Journeys. Sunday, April 13, 2014. English Isle Week - London to L.A. (Day 8). Having that night-after-the-marathon phenomenon of not being able to sleep very well despite being tired, I woke up rather early for my last day in London. Knowing that I would need to be heading to Heathrow by noon on the Tube, I set out around 0830 for a slow shuffle around, just to stretch the legs. I was pretty bummed I didn't get to see her and cheer her on, but I wasn't going to be able to mak...

ACROSS THE POND - volume VIII. Table of Contents VIII. Family vacations: a few minor catastrophes. I've decided to stop putting out new issues for a few reasons: 1) I've started a postgrad degree in Tourism Management as well as French lessons which keep me pretty busy. 2) My postgrad course has inspired me to explore a new area of travel and writing: literary tourism. 3) I want to focus on new writing projects unrelated to travel (let me know if you'd like to join forces! An MBA From Across The Pond?
An MBA From Across The Pond? MBA Application thoughts from a stressed out Brit. Wednesday, 17 March 2010. Well, its been a few weeks since I last posted, and so much has happened. First, the good news - I was admitted to NYU! This means that after months of stressing, I'm definitely going to business school this year - woohoo! I'm also really excited about New York - after visiting Stern's campus for interview it looks like a great place to spend two years. Roll on March 31 (final decision day). The New ...
