Thursday, July 23, 2009. This past week has been a difficult one. My sister Lyndi's 14 month old passed away in his sleep of unknown causes. He was such a cute little guy and we'll miss him so much. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. The other day, Adam started digging this hole to start putting in the sprinklers. Well, Millie found it and just loved it. She played in there a loooonnngg time, and was really mad when we took her back inside. She loves being outside. And, like every other kid, she loves playing in dirt! Sunday, July 27, 2008. Oh, and BTW, the blessing was beautiful. Liam really is a miracle baby and we love him so much! This one of Adam and Millie is so cute! Millie is definitely a Daddy's girl!

Saturday, November 23, 2013. I'm so thankful for so very much! I'm thankful that my kids are here and happy (and almost healthy! We have been doing a few room air trials with Morgan and we are doing okay. She is being able to go longer without it but in the end she still needs it. We also took a drive down to go see my dad and Grandma Patti. Sarah and I rented a big suburban and took the kids down and back in one day! Grandma Patti and the Christiansen kids. Once there was this Funny Boy and this Artsy Girl

I love meeting the families that I get to meet through doing portraits. I originally went to school to be a social worker so that I could work with abused and neglected children, so I studied a lot about families and how vitally important that little unit is to the development of children and to the overall structure of society. And then I ended up getting a degree in art and minoring in family sciences and now I get to combine both, celebrating families through art. I'm so grateful I get to do this!
