Friday, May 29, 2015. May brings swimming, Astrocamp, teacher appreciation week, and fun in general. The kids and I had a lot of fun while Adam was at Astrocamp. We went to SkinnyFats, In-n-Out Burger, and a birthday party for a little baby named Zella, who has faced a lot of struggles in her little life, though we are grateful she's here and healthy-ish. Sunday, October 13, 2013. A Week in the Life {10/7-10/13}. It was my 28th birthday this week! The girls are doing fantastic. If you haven't seen Paige do the Alphabet on Facebook go watch that right now. It's probably the cutest thing ever. For Fun Friday this week we went to the park and Cori brought doughnuts to celebrate my birthday. Have I mentioned before I have the best friends in the world? We also had an E.Q. activity which was a lot of fun! We had hot dogs and chips and games and socializing.

So, since I am now an expert at living through a heat wave (100 degrees outside four 5 out of the 7 days so far) with no power for a whole week I will share ten things we learned. 1 Some things you should definitely own in case of a power outage or emergency:. Sunday, September 11, 2011. It's been 10 years. 10 years since I was a Senior in High School and the tragedy of 9/11. I still remember watching footage of the events taking place in my classes that day, knowing that what was happening was going to be history, but not really understanding the magnitude of it. 10 years later, it's still difficult to wrap my head around how many people have been affected by that single day. I'm truly grateful for every day of freedom spent in this country with my family.
