Yea, the views were pretty good! 1) low land, lush green, always everywhere. 2) Off hotel deck toward the tourist beach. 3) High up in the mountain, on the road from bethany house to the "town". 4) Off hotel deck toward atlantic ocean. 5) Literally out beth's front door. 6) Off hotel deck, yep. a little windy. 7) On the main road from Beth little village to the base of the mountain and a bigger city. 8) Another off the hotel deck. Fun in the DR. 1) Swimming. lots of it. fun. 2) Surfing. yep. more than I expected. 3) Local kite surfing (we stayed at what is called the kite surfing capital of the world, they hold the kite surfing world championships). 4) 4 kite surfers. 5) Gringo kite surfering. it take about four 2 hour lesson to learn how to kite surf plus you have to rent the gear. not for the casual tourist but lots were trying. 7) Beth surfing waiting for her set.
