Charting By the Stars. Let what I love be the stars to my wandering bark…. This entry was posted on March 2, 2015, in Slice of Life Challenge 2015. I’m huddled up at my desk attempting to warm up after about 30 minutes of cleaning off the cars. My son and I have two hour delays this morning, but my husband had to leave early to catch the bus. I keep thinking about the idea of warming up. Warming up from the cold. Warming up to become spring. Warming up to new ideas. You don’t have to agree with eve...

Ready to Flip a Coin. Monthly Archives: October 2014. Trying What I’m Asking My Kids to Do. October 7, 2014. I hate when I realize that I’ve asked my kids to do something that I’m not sure I could do myself. We’ve been writing a lot lately, and we are making some signs of improvement. However, we can’t seem to dig deeper and share a story that’s meaningful. I’ve asked them to answer: What makes me, me? What makes me, me? I walked around on pins and needles trying to be this perfect doll that calculated e...

Ready to Flip a Coin. July 20, 2016. There was a moment in my yoga class today where I felt a surging sense of self-confidence as I held challenging positions I wasn’t able to before. I slightly giggled at the person next to me, their face asking, “What the hell is she talking about? 8221; as they stared at the instructor in utter confusion, trying to mimic a pose named something I can’t pronounce. You want me to do what? Their face questioned as they lowered themselves in defeat to their mat. For remind...

Leaning down toward her bowl, I peeled the plastic cover off the can, dipped the spoon in and scooped out Lucy’s dinner. 8220;I’m tired and hungry, and I really, really don’t want to deal with this now….̶...8220;Shovel. This little piggie – Catching Moments In Maine
https://catchingmomentsinmaine.wordpress.com/2016/03/13/this-little-piggie
Catching Moments In Maine. Last night my daughter jumped off the arm of a neighbors couch. It happens. Don’t jump on the furniture we say. It’s just parent noise. Couches are soft, low enough to be fun without being scary. This time she landed funny. I met my girl on the sidewalk limping home. She saw me and broke down. Her brother took her scooter, I carried her the rest of the way. March 13, 2016. One thought on “ This little piggie. March 14, 2016 at 1:01 am. Lucky for you, it was just a little piggie!
