We spontaneously lost internet in Bamako. apparently this happens all the time. In Koutiala we lost power for a whole night. Anyway, Mom - sorry skype cut you off. That was right when we lost the internet. Oh and Fred had his wallet stolen in Bamako :( Please keep him in your thoughts too. Quite fitting I thought! See you all state-side soon!

Adventures in the life of. you guessed it. Audrey! Thursday, February 25, 2010. Feeling Like a Rockstar. Ok so my time with my sister is over :( We had a really great time. I am ready to buy a Pinkberry (a frozen yogurt place, amazing! I may or may not have had it twice today. Anyway Mary Ann and I are in the lounge for Cathay Pacific Airways and its pretty awesome- free food, drinks, espresso, computers, tvs, rich people (haha, but seriously). I got back a week and a half ago and brought a special surprise for my husband- a new kitten! His name is now Sprocket and he is hilarious. Duece met him yesterday and was unimpressed! At least he didnt try to kill him. Sprocket however has been following Duece around the house growling and hissing at him. Thanks for following the blog. Friday, August 7th.

Sadly we only have complete data from four Chipmunks when we were supposed to have finished 12 during this trip. Tomorrow we have the possibility of running four more but that still only puts us at eight total. Thats about the only thing I'll miss aside from the mountains. I got pictures on my cell phone!
