Life on the Rock. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Sweet Meah is Seven. I know that I always talk about how sweet Meah is so here is a good story to prove I am not biased. Last week our little Addi had a traumatic day with one of her friends and was so sad. The first thing she asked me is "can we go get Meah now? Thursday, January 13, 2011. Braeden got a BB gun. Good idea? Hmmmmm .we shall see. Jess does not stop working on his days off. (well except for soccer games) So we had the kids slaving away in the...

Life on the Rock. Monday, August 30, 2010. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Summer 2010 part 1.maybe. Ten weeks of summer have come and gone and I have yet to document any of them. I figure that if we are now four weeks into school maybe I should start. Boondocks with Grandpa and the cousins. Watch out for this old grandpa he ran more than one little kid off the road. This was serious business for him. These two are so alike with the same quiet sweet personalities. They are a joy to be around. Summer 2010 part ...

Life on the Rock: September 2010
http://ourlivesontherock.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Life on the Rock. Monday, September 13, 2010. Summer Break the Final Installment. This summer was very much a small hodge podge of activities. We were lazy and tired so spent most of it at the beach or at the pool. It was heaven. Tessa and Meah had a "Justin Bieber party" so Jess and I took Braeden and Addi for pasta and the Fun Factory. They were spoiled rotten and totally adorable. I think this face says it all. She was SO proud. The girls with all of their junk. I mean prizes. You have to be quiet!

Life on the Rock: February 2010
http://ourlivesontherock.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Life on the Rock. Sunday, February 7, 2010. Introducing our newest family member. Jess is a dog lover. I am NOT an animal person to say the very least. I gave in early on in our marriage and we had our first dog. Cooper, a huge newfoundland. And we fell in love with Martha. Skinny, shy, gentle, and smelly. She was a hunting dog. Found wandering around Koke'e. They named her Martha at the pound. We tried to tell our kids they could change the name but they wanted her to keep her identity. And she stinks, ...

Life on the Rock: April 2011

Life on the Rock. Friday, April 8, 2011. Waipo Foundation Field Trip. Addi's preschool went to the North Shore last month for their excursion. We visited the Waipo. Foundation where they grow kalo. And make poi. It was muddy and messy so Addi mostly had a good time. Jess would have been the better one to go trudging through the lo'i. For snails than Addi's fat pregnant momma but we had fun anyway. Peeling and cleaning the taro. Addi would not touch it but bossed me around on how to do it. This picture CR...

http://ourlivesontherock.blogspot.com/2013/01/2012-odds-and-ends.html
Life on the Rock. Friday, January 11, 2013. 2012 Odds and Ends. 2012 was a very eventful year full of ups and downs. The girls loved picking wild blackberries everyday from our yard. They spent hours in the bushes filling bowls and tummies. We all accompanied Jess on many of his business trips over the summer. We got to see lots of beautiful places all over the Pacific Northwest. Braeden started scouting and went on many overnighters. We spent many weekends exploring the gorgeous city of Seattle. We live...
