AboveCheese: one last blog post for the class
http://abovecheese.blogspot.com/2010/12/one-last-blog-post-for-class.html
Thoughts on design and other sources of amusement/irritation. Friday, December 17, 2010. One last blog post for the class. What PBDS601 has taught me:. 2 I can't make it perfect. I can technically, but for now there's always going to be something I want to change and that's ok. I'm definitely not good enough to make something that doesn't require any changes and most of us are in that same category. 6 Questions I still have: Will I be nothing more than mediocre at this? How can I tell? Because I like to ...

97mph (meals per hour). Four Foodies. 16 Miles of Interstate Highway and the Places It Lets You Eat. Sunday, June 13, 2010. 243 Miles of Dim Sum (Oriental East and Asian Court). That's the distance between Oriental East. In Silver Spring and Asian Court. You can get your dim sum on in either place and feel pretty good about your Authentico-Meter. Or at the very least, you'll eat incredible food that you'll want to talk about for quite a while. I will have dim sum! And at that point I didn't know the pace...

For the Visual Learners. For the Visual Learners. One of the major drawbacks of this blog — well, there are two. *Two* of the major drawbacks of this blog are 1.) I won’t be posting pictures with entries and 2.) I wont be posting pictures of us. There won’t be pictures with entries because my photography skills aren’t strong enough to carry a photo without faces and bodies in it. There won’t be pictures of faces and bodies because I’m working this blog from an anonymous angle. Wifebian, aka the wife, wea...

Baltimore Bites: Over the Shoulder for Luck
http://baltimorebites.blogspot.com/2009/04/over-shoulder-for-luck.html
Blogging my way through Baltimore and the surrounding counties one forkful at a time. Sunday, April 5, 2009. Over the Shoulder for Luck. We were able to secure our trusty babysitter last night and Brian and I headed down to Salt. Even though we were really full, of course we got dessert. Salt makes all their desserts in house, including homemade ice creams. We shared a ice cream sandwich made with a homemade brownie and cotton candy ice cream. So, there you go Kim. Grab Ernie and get down to Salt! There ...

Baltimore Bites: I'll Eat My Hat!
http://baltimorebites.blogspot.com/2011/03/ill-eat-my-hat.html
Blogging my way through Baltimore and the surrounding counties one forkful at a time. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. I'll Eat My Hat! Spring has sprung my friends. Ok, maybe it has not fully sprung, but it is indeed springing. I happily lost an hour of sleep this past weekend to gain an hour of daylight, my crocuses are blooming and we are getting ready for Purim. The villain of the Purim story is a character named Hamen. He was a prime minister of sorts to the Persian King who punished Jews for not bowi...

Looks like I've got another resolution for 2010. I am now following you. Http:/ atasteofsavoie.blogspot.com/. Let me ...

Baltimore Bites: The Advantage of Being Indecisive

Blogging my way through Baltimore and the surrounding counties one forkful at a time. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. The Advantage of Being Indecisive. The phone woke me up way too early this morning with the news I was dreading to hear. Schools will be closed today for inclement weather. Why is the woman delivering this recorded message so chipper? Let me back track and talk about my love of Baked. My first experience with Baked, was with their brownie mix. After all the ingredients are incorporated, you a...

Blogging my way through Baltimore and the surrounding counties one forkful at a time. Sunday, January 18, 2009. How did I miss this one? I had some friends over for the Eagles/Cardinals game today. Let's not discuss the outcome. I'm disgusted. Anyway, during the game my friends were telling me about a great website restaurant.com. I can't believe I did not know about this! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Everyone Loves a Freebie! We traveled this far for this? If I can only remember eating it. So Lon...

Your TasteBud: Bahama Breeze
http://coley18.blogspot.com/2009/05/bahama-breeze.html
Monday, May 11, 2009. Is such a landmark in Towson. BB is a Carribean cuisine restaurant right at the main circle in Towson. Their food isn't too heavy, but it's very unique. The setting of the restaurant is what brings most people in for the first time, and keeps them coming. It looks like a giant hut from the outside, but it also translates inside with dark wood and bright colors. The patio area is open starting in the Spring and they offer the AMAZING music of what looks like Bob Marley.
