Come Grab A Latte...: August 2010
http://comegrabalatte.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. A season of surrender. Is it really handing Him over control when I am constantly dwelling on the situations that I supposedly trust Him with? Even though my actions may show that I am trusting and following Him, is my heart aligned with those actions or am I begrudgingly going along with what I feel like I am supposed to? My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. Psalm 62:5. Sunday, August 29, 2010. It's my fort worthaversary. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, March 28, 2011. Oh, Change.you are weird. I loathe you.yet desire you at the same time. I have to constantly remind myself that even if something changes.it doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Sometimes it can be the smallest change ever and my mind will automatically go to the worst possible scenario where there is only a 1% change of it ever happening. I just hate change. Plain and simple. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. You Hold Me Now". On that day when I see. All that You have for me. All crea...

Wednesday, March 9, 2011. You Hold Me Now". On that day when I see. All that You have for me. When I see You face to face. There surrounded by Your grace. All my fears swept away. No weeping no hurt or pain. You hold me now. You hold me now. No darkness no sick or lame. You hold me now. You hold me now. I mis...

The quiet untold stories of the Truth. It has been 5 months since we arrived in Chile. How time has flown! It doesn't seem like it has been 5 months. In some ways it feels shorter and in others longer. Short because there is so much to do and learn, and long because we have done and experienced so much. Now we only have 6 months left! That's not a lot. In these next three months there is a lot to be done:. A youth retreat in Santiago. Conexión (Chi Alpha) meetings. More meetings in Santiago. The traditio...

The quiet untold stories of the Truth. Christmas Dinner with Conexión. For Christmas 2009, Conexion small groupers gathered to celebrate and fellowship together. During the planning process of the event, the Chileans decided that they wanted a "gringo" Christmas dinner with a turkey and all. Melody and I were excited to do such a dinner because making turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, cut out cookies, fudge, and all sorts of goodies reminded us of Christmases back in the States.
