Adventures in Guided Journaling: A twist on the mid-August journal page
http://www.adventuresinguidedjournaling.com/2011/08/a-twist-on-mid-august-journal-page.html
Tuesday, August 16, 2011. A twist on the mid-August journal page. This is quite possibly my favourite journal page so far. It's a little different from previous pages and for that reason I haven't assigned it a number. This month I was thinking about those gallery walls. That people have in their homes and how much I love them and how much I love doodling. Lately and, on a completely different note, how nice it is to have a record of a specific day and how I am in awe of day-in-the-life. I hope you have ...

Friday, April 24, 2015. A try My eyes aren't what they used to be, so I'm spending lots of time squinting at a tiny screen, wondering what I've got. On the other hand, it gives me a new perspective from which to view the world and my work and it's good to try new things. Here's a quick look at the past two weeks. Trying my hand at lettering with my watercolours and a teeny, tiny brush. A photo posted by Christie Zimmer (@guidedjournaler) on. Apr 7, 2015 at 11:43am PDT. Apr 13, 2015 at 11:32am PDT.

Adventures in Guided Journaling: September 2014
http://www.adventuresinguidedjournaling.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 12, 2014. It's always a bit of a challenge to return to the internet after an absence, so I'm starting with a little picture I drew with on the computer with my pen tablet. I wish the new journal stuff I've been working on lent itself better to exciting, in-progress imagery, but it's all still books and summaries and prompts. On the upside, it's wonderful to take a break every now and then and try out a bit of drawing. Wishing you a happy weekend! Labels: arts and crafts.

Are We There Yet?: Train and first night in Vancouver
http://petallitraveller-arewethereyet.blogspot.com/2015/08/train-and-first-night-in-vancouver.html
Are We There Yet? Interesting photos and signs. Free and Low Cost Camps. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Train and first night in Vancouver. After staying in Seattle for one night after the cruise, we took the Seattle Shuttle bus to King Street Station for the Amtrak Cascade Coastal train to Vancouver. Check-in and security went smoothly. The train was comfortable and the view wonderful. The train moved slowly enough for the scenery to pass and for us to take photos. View from our room :(. In the lift :).

Are We There Yet? Interesting photos and signs. Free and Low Cost Camps. Sunday, 9 August 2015. After getting the Rocky Mountaineer back to Vancouver, we were dropped off around the corner from our hotel, Rosedale on Robson. We had booked a 2 x queen bed room with breakfast for the 4 nights, and were upgraded to a two bedroom self contained unit. It was beautiful. This is the second bedroom - with a TV. This is the main bedroom - with a TV. Look at the floor to ceiling windows! The living area and kitchen.

Are We There Yet? Interesting photos and signs. Free and Low Cost Camps. Wednesday, 12 August 2015. Day 3 Canadian Rockies Road Trip to Lake Louise. We left Three Valley Chateau and drove to Revelstoke for breakfast on the go. "Coffee at Tim Horton's is not very good" said Peter. Jonnie and I thought the hot chocolate was fine. This is the car we hired, well we actually hired a small 4 seater, but got upgraded for not much extra to this 7 seater. Again, we travelled through tunnels. Still travelling on t...

Each day is not so everyday. Wednesday, December 3, 2014. I love the view out of this window at work, so serene. The clouds look like mountains. Hmmm, I'm thinking I should have worn socks today! Clearing off my windshield and some chips of slushy ice landed on my bare foot.brrrr! Today, I shall be prepared for wayward icy slush from my windshield! Les deux pieds sur Terre: Lectures dominicales
http://deuxpieds.blogspot.com/2015/07/lectures-dominicales.html
http://deuxpieds.blogspot.com/2013/03/bilan-de-lecture-mars.html
2013 reading Challenge (Good Reads). J’ai lu jusqu’à présent six romans. Plus que 14 pour atteindre mon objectif! Let me Count the Ways Reading Challenge.

Adventures In Guat
8220;Grow where you are planted…”. November 14, 2012. T-5 days until I will be heading back to Seattle. I don’t think I fully comprehend that. As in, it doesn’t make sense. 10 weeks is enough time for me to take root…and taken root I have. It doesn’t take much for me to forget the whole other world and life I have back in Seattle. This isn’t to say that I don’t dearly love all that that entails…I’ve just taken root somewhere else and that has become my world. Earthquake and Last session in Magdalena.
