Adventures of a wendybird. Inside A Voice Lesson. The other night at rehearsal, TPSC’s chorus master was talking about how non-musicians are very curious about the musical world. I never really thought about it, but I think he’s probably right. What the audience sees is a polished piece, but there are weeks and months of rehearsal that go into the ultimate performance. For the past month, I’ve been working on Offenbach’s Doll Song from Tales of Hoffman. Enjoy! Figuring out breaths…. And tagged doll song.
