Beach, please | The Adventures Of Kluk
https://adventuresofkluk.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/beach-please
The Adventures Of Kluk. A travelling teddy bear shares his stories. The journey from Bangkok was long but comfortable. Boy didn’t see much of it as he was reading The Stand by Stephen King (and flinching horribly whenever anyone nearby coughed or sneezed – old Thai men seem to enjoy clearing their throats), but Girl and I enjoyed the view from the air-conditioned coach as the urban chaos of Bangkok dissolved into the mountainous green of the Thai countryside. The highlight of the day has undoubtedly been...

The Adventures Of Kluk. A travelling teddy bear shares his stories. Guess Who’s Back. Well that was a bit of an interlude, wasn’t it? Quite a lot has happened since we last spoke. To put it as briefly as possible, I’m fully blaming The Kids for somehow contriving to turn October on a sunny beach in Thailand into March in snowy Prague (yes that’s right, it’s bloody snowing). And flying ‘slave class’ on a long-haul flight back in the direction we had originally come from. So why the sudden about turn?

The Adventures Of Kluk. A travelling teddy bear shares his stories. Still loving the relaxed pace of life on the Thai Island of Ko Chang. It’s just a shame I can’t tan like the Kids (you should see Boy’s feet! Because we’re racking up significant beach hours… and even more pancakes. Is it healthy to eat a whole pancake, drowning in maple syrup and accompanied by a scrumptious slice of crispy bacon,. Anyway, here are a few highlights from the last few days:. Girl freaked out at a bunch of monkeys sitting ...

Why you should visit the island of Langkawi, Malaysia on your next visit to South East Asia. When I first heard Malaysia has islands worth exploring, I have to admit, I was a little taken back. I’ve spent some time travelling around Malaysia, exploring Malacca, Kuala Lumper and Kuching, but beach culture was not something that would naturally first spring to mind. In Search of an Island Paradise. That’s when my friends, Love and Road. How to get to the island of Langkawi, Malaysia. Alternatively, if you&...
