Tales about our travels by bike. We follow Mex 1 for several miles out of La Paz. It is a two lane road with some shoulder and not too busy. So the riding is fine. We then reach a junction between Mex 1 and Mex 19. Our first navigational decision for a while; Mex 1 through the hills and mining villages or Mex 19 along the coast? We have heard that Mex 19 has recently been resurfaced for G20 traffic and that the original Hotel California is in the major town along the route, Todos Santos, so Mex 19 it is.
