Pediatrics meet as a group quarterly and have asked me to join them as a patient representative for the last couple of meetings. Today's meeting was full of different strategies for getting better feedback from the community. They focused on renewing their idea of AIDET=. 8226; Show a positive attitude. 8226; Make your patients feel like you have expected them and that you know them. 8226; Ask permission to enter a room.

Tonight we had out October FAC meeting - We had a special guest, Marylouise Alther from Volunteer Services- Hopefully soon I will be able to become "HIPAAtized" so that I can help out Pediatrics and the care coordinators with anything they might need and be able to update the website. We had a lively discussion about H1N1 and Flu Shot Clinics! Our dinner was provided by Beth and the Hood Center from the Epilepsy Grant :) - It was yummy!
