Adventures on a "boys only" weekend. The last of our california adventure. Well we've been mighty busy the last few days. we helped my poppo pack up and move out of his house. my aunts were going thru, sorting, and packing everything. mucho kuddos to them! Adventures on christmas eve. We had a great time at our christmas eve service. ben did great. he lasted almost the entire time int he service before needing to run around. he looked so handsome :) we had dinner at our friends' house afterwards and then to spend the night at matt's parents. Adventures with man's best friend. Adventures on the church playground. It was a gorgeous sunday afternoon and we were heading to florida directly after church. so we let ben run around on the playground a while before we packed up the car to leave town. enjoy his great faces. you can definitely tell he was enjoying himself! Adventures in a van. We made it with sanity in tact and enjoyed our long weekend there. we got to visit with both sides of matt's family and loved being able to stay at nanny's with all the other cousins. ben definitely thought he was one of the big kids. Adventures in south carolina. We stopped in columbia, sc to stay the night with matt's sister kristin. the boys got up and enjoyed some sunshine and fresh air. they rode power wheels and ran around the yard. cousins are great! Adventures at nanny's house. While we were in florida we stayed at nanny's house. so much better than staying at a hotel :) we all enjoyed a little R&R. ben loved to walk with nanny outside to get the dog, and they usually ended up down on the dock. who can blame him? Matt and ben had a grand ole time riding bikes and skateboards in front of nanny's house. i became designated picture taker. her extra-long driveway made for a great runway for the skateboard. ben loves the skateboard! What a fun time!

It's just so hard to be a good dog. After the first few times of stealing stuff off the kitchen counter and getting into stuff he wasn't supposed to, we noticed our Facebook posts about Maverick's escapades were frequent enough that we started chronicling them into a series of "adventures". He. Not all of Maverick's adventures are bad. sometimes he surprises us! Many of Maverick's adventures involve trying our patience. For all his crazy antics. we're glad he's part of our family! Pushing boundaries……. December 31, 2012. What an awesome year 2012 has been. I set myself a number of goals, all related and complementary. Complete my mission of running a marathon in every Australian state. In 2011 I’d run Canberra, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Melbourne. So still had NSW, WA, NT and TAS to go. Run 3000kms for the year.
