Oct 11th – A Special Trail Work Day: Seasonal Bridge Removal Day. Every October we remove the two seasonal bridges in anticipation of the winter rains and a roaring Aptos Creek (we can only hope!

The Forest of Nisene Marks is laced with over 40 miles of scenic trails and fire roads providing a variety of options for hikers, bicyclists and equestrians. Some trails lead to historic sites tracing railroad logging grades built over 100 years ago. Others wind through lush creek canyons or up to viewpoints along the mountain ridges.
