To date, the courses in which these graduates have completed their studies include: Underground Mining, Diamond Driller Helper, Radiation Technician, Mine Technician, Introduction to Mining and Electrical Applied Certificate. Membership in IMII is open to all those that are interested in advancing the minerals industry and is, as required by the non-profit corporations act, approved by the Board of Directors. Members of IMII are organizations (e.g. companies, institutions, government bodies) not individuals. The member organizations choose a person to represent their organization in IMII. Those with annual sales less than $20 million and contributing $5,000 per year.

Many rural cemeteries are cared for by volunteers and are just not in a position, financially, to undertake large restoration projects. In addition, the volunteer hours required to clean, photograph and annotate a whole cemetery of headstones is probably not realistic, either.
