Ahipara Holiday Park Location. Ahipara is located in the northern half of the North Island, New Zealand. It is also known as "The Gateway to Ninety Mile Beach". It is 15km west of Kaitaia and has everything you could want on a holiday. By car or campervan:. When you arrive in Ahipara, follow the main road, turn right onto Takahe Road and travel down past the Adventure Centre and the fire station.
