Only because the night before, we struggled against wind, rain and darkness to setup our tent (which readily collapsed) and had to be saved by Andy and Yeny, who were experienced, well prepared and very kind to let us share a tent with them for the weekend. Well, the Historic District of Old Quebec city has all these as well, some even calls it. Paris of North America. Now that is a lofty comparison no doubt, but this is as close to Europe as we’re going to get on this side of the Atlantic. James Thompson House, a heritage monument site is now a B&B. While our situation is not as bad as California, the city has entered stage 3 water restriction, which meant the watering of all lawns and washing of all vehicles are now prohibited.
