Monday, December 10, 2012. No, we're not moving from Jacksonville just yet. However, I think I'm going to move the blog to shutterfly. I find it more user-friendly for adding photos and let's be honest.most people read family blogs to see photos of the kids ;-) So, I'm going to try it out for a while. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Gavin has had a word explosion the last few weeks. Here is a sampling of his words:. Disee (Dixie)- this was his first word. Boom (when he bangs things). Ah done (all done). Muh (more)- although today I heard an "r" sound at the end for the first time. Hep (help) and just today, "Wayeh hep" to help give Dixie her water. Mono (his stuffed monkey). Thursday, September 13, 2012. Ella's First Birthday Party! We had a great little party for Ella last week. I never had time during residency to plan fun parties or to do anything. Creative, for that matter, so it was a lot of fun to do this. Thanks so much to my mom and dad who helped so much in putting things together in the weeks before, and to Larry and Nancy who helped set up and clean up! Sunday, August 2, 2009. Susie came to visit a few weeks ago and Gavin loved it. She is starting college! I can't believe it! Gavin and Michael just left for Houston for a few days. I'm going to miss them, but I know they'll have a good time. Michael is on vacation this week, but of course I didn't get the vacation week I requested. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. A few weeks ago, we were looking for something fun to do on a rare true day off as a family. We decided to try bowling and had a blast! Gavin still talks about it. Monday, November 5, 2012. My pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. At their Primrose School Parade. She refused to wear the hat. After she saw us and was getting wheeled away. Gavin and his friend Colton. Trick-or-treating at the mall. Love the shoes :-). As you can see, they were not in the mood for pictures. Gavin didn't want to wear his mask and Ella didn't want to sit in his lap. Saturday, September 17, 2011. Ella is 2 weeks old! Her bilirubin levels went down and she has been off the lights now for several days.so that ordeal is over! The strange thing is that she was never actually sick.it was all to prevent. Of course, if you call Gavin a baby, he will very quickly correct you- "I'm not a baby. I'm a BIG boy".
