And for once, we were not rushing around trying to get ready, thanks to the kids getting up way early giving us plenty of time to get to church on time. I think he shoved about 5 tootsie rolls in his mouth before. We started taking pictures. He knows his time with free for all. Access to candy is limited. This is not the dress I would have selected for Easter morning. Only pic I have with G2 in his full ensemble.

But here we are, my sweet running friend Michelle and I, dressed up like Bat girls and ready to run a 1/2 marathon. I wish you could see the cape I was wearing in this picture.I visualize it looking really awesome blowing behind me as I ran (Michelle confirms it looked awesome! Welcome to Our World. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Super fun for us that Halloween fell on a 1/2 day of school for G1 and no school for W. Since the weather was predicted to be bEaUtiFul, Brad took the day off from work to go on a mountain bike ride. Riding season is ending so I see a little withdrawal/depression when his fav warm weather hobby ends. Glad he could get in another ride! We have been so busy lately that our pumpkins have been sitting uncarved on the front porch for about 6 weeks. Yikes!

Our seats ended up being great.we were close to the field and saw some of the goals being scored close up which was super exciting! Seeing these ladies play (ages ranged from 20's to upper 30's! Was amazing. They handled the ball with ease and grace and made the sport look easy! The weather these two days was incredibly scorching hot! Watching the ladies practice the day before the game. My kids are so lucky because they have an amazing Dad. I've known this for awhile now but it becomes more apparent the longer he is a Dad. He took of the day so he could be with W on his first day of school and attend the orientation with us. Honestly, he probably did this to be more of a support for me! 1st day of 3rd grade! We don't have a ton of posts this fall because most of our Saturdays (like at least 3 hours each week.and that doesn't include travel to and from the games! Were spent at the soccer fields watching the kiddos play soccer. In this video, G2 doesn't score a goal but he gets pretty darn close and you can see how he kicks the ball and runs around the field. G2 had a great coach who kept things energetic and exciting for this group of 3 and 4 year olds!
