Contact Information for the Craigs. Where You Can Find Me. A Warm Welcome to Curitiba. A Warm Welcome to Curitiba. July 20, 2015. So here are the three couples the Franças, the Raseras and us. This picture is of flowers in their front yard. It’s winter here, but things still bloom. It was a nice meal, and it is nice to have a link to one of the families in the ward, even if it may have come from our being with their friends that first Sunday. July 20, 2015 at 4:06 pm. Contact Information for the Craigs. Where You Can Find Me. Things to be Missed and Not. October 19, 2016. I wrote a family and friends letter today and was mentioning some of the things that have been good about Curitiba and it has led to this post of things we are going to miss and things we are looking forward to having again. So here in no particular order –. We will miss Biz cookies Janice in particular loves the lemon ones. We will miss friends too numerous to mention. We won’t miss this funny toast...

Capybaras in the Park | The Next Phase

https://alanandjanice.wordpress.com/2015/08/04/capybaras-in-the-park

Contact Information for the Craigs. Where You Can Find Me. Capybaras in the Park. Capybaras in the Park. August 4, 2015. I first saw a capybara as I was riding through the park and thought the one I saw on the other side of part of the lake looked like a small hippo lying in the grass, which really didn’t make any sense at all. The next time I saw them there was a larger group up walking, and it was clear that they were something different. August 4, 2015 at 3:25 pm. Capybara …favorite food of the ...

Bacon Bits: Inventor's Fair

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2015/03/inventors-fair.html

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Our school has all of the 5th graders participate in the Inventor's Fair. Some parents are very, very involved in what the kids make, but I have let both Andrew and Zach choose what they wanted to make and go with it! The kids are supposed to come up with a problem that they have and then figure out a solution. This was Zach's problem.stuff he wanted to put in a pocket of his pocketless pants! Doesn't this seem like a huge problem? We better invent something for it! Ava's 18 Mo...

Bacon Bits: October 2014

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 12, 2014. The city of Riverton's parade was on the evening of the 3rd of July. We walked over with my parents and Beth's family and sat down in a great spot and waiting for things to get going. Zach found some snails. And Ava made little habitats for them! Andrew answered a question right from the emcee and won this beautiful hat! He was looking pretty patriotic. Almost everyone who went by tried to throw the candy into the blanket.it was a genius idea! I thought this one was really fun.

Bacon Bits: April 2014

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Spring Break Day 7 and 8 and 9. Day 7 was a day at sea. I actually love sea days.they are so different than port days.much more relaxed and unscheduled.the perfect balance after a few exciting port days! I always love the way the ocean looks off the side of the boat.here's a picture! We actually had pretty rough water on our sea day - rough enough that the pool was closed because it was sloshing out! Uh huh.oh yeah.you're looking at a champion right there! Ava's birthday was ju...

Bacon Bits: November 2014

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Wednesday, November 5, 2014. We went down for a BYU soccer game with Beth, Rick and the kids. We stopped at The Brick Oven for dinner first and then headed over to the game. It was a beautiful night and we had a great time! This Salt Lake Real player was at the game and Lauren was super excited. She is a wonderful soccer player and is a big fan. I told her I would go over to him with her and get their picture.it took a little moment of convincing, but not too much! Ava showing her BYU pride! It was a sma...

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-laundry-room-project.html

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. A laundry room project. We decided to build something to hold 3 laundry baskets so that we can use vertical space in our small laundry room. Duchess got right in the middle of the building project. It was so funny. She really does want to be wherever we are! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Is everything really better with bacon? Bacon Bits: June 2014

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Can anyone say, "project"? As most of you know, Greg and I decided to buy a house that is just 2 blocks away from the house we have been living in. We found this gem (diamond in the rough) and knew it was the place for us! It has been a series of decisions, but we are really pleased and excited for this new adventure. Now onto the projects! It's like a time capsule.and it's perfect for us! The view from the street. Something that was planted around the city water pipe.hmmm. The Co...

Bacon Bits: The Allure of the Seas - Day 2

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-allure-of-seas-day-2.html

Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The Allure of the Seas - Day 2. Day 2 was a day at sea.we thought we better start with a little Boardwalk action! Ava got up to the front, but then was feeling a little too nervous to go. It was 12 stories up! I went and then we headed inside for a parade! Zach loves 'How to train your dragon'.it was fun to have so much of it on the ship. Then we were off to the flow rider! The flow rider was really fun! What cruise would be complete without a little ping pong? If your Bacon lo...

Bacon Bits: March 2014

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 24, 2014. The King Henry Cruise 2014! This is the almost impossible task of trying to capture a 10 day vacation in pictures - without posting all 478 of them! Here are just some of the many, many highlights.in probably 150 pictures! We drove to the cities the night before (getting in around 1:30 am), slept for a few hours and boarded an early plane headed to Puerto Rico! There was an amazing sunrise along the way, and it made me feel like the vacation was starting right from the take off.

Bacon Bits: January 2015

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 6, 2015. But first we had to decorate the tree! Once the kids went to bed, the presents came out and we got ready for the morning. Uh ohthis elf has passed his prime! This was the view from the top of the stairs when we went to bed. I thought the kids would be excited to look down and see it like this in the morning. I have a memory of waking up to go to the bathroom on Christmas Eve as a kids and seeing something similar to this.it felt magical! He was as sick as I have ever seen him.

Bacon Bits: May 2014

http://littlebaconbits.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Since it was Mother's Day, I didn't have meetings before church and that meant I got to try a new hairdo on Ava! This is a bun that I saw online that you French braid.I love how it turned out! I think it's really fun to try new things, so it was a little treat for me! After church, we popped some popcorn, made special drinks and sat down to watch a show we love to watch on Sundays. Then Greg and the kids gave me some gifts. I put them right on! Zach and Aiden wrote a parody to the ...

Our Branch of the Tree

Friday, June 19, 2015. A Tradition of Change. My favorite time of year! I love all of our traditions. Drinking way too much hot chocolate. Spending time with family and friends. Driving around while looking at the lights. All the bells and whistles. Want to know what my least favorite tradition is? It also happens to be the most consistent. In fact, we've never ever missed a year. We've never once spent more than one Christmas in the same house. This year, I was giddy setting up our Christmas tree. I lov...
