I had the day off, so spent it putting together my future Apex blog post on being an international writer and watching the Celtics get destroyed (Boo! Also ate yummy rice dumplings (zong zi) which are basically triangular wedges of glutinous rice with pork and ccoked egg yolk (holy calories! 17 comments Leave a comment. Writing, my other LJ - San Antonio Reconnaissance Man

San Antonio Reconnaissance Man. Because I don’t know how to spell Renaissance. Writing, my other LJ. Jun 6th, 2009 at 4:32 PM. I just finished two stories today that were in the tweaking pile. Short stories #98 and #99. I guess I'm keeping count so I'll know when I get to the three digit #100. One is SF/horror and so creepy it kinda freaks me out. The other's a modern-day high fantasy, trolls and goblins with wristwatches and TVs and bad breath, etc. Gee, Marshall sure has a dull blog. I'll be sure an le...

"Until the Pit is Dug for the Wicked" at The Future Fire - Kratfish Journal
http://jkratman.livejournal.com/24529.html
Until the Pit is Dug for the Wicked" at The Future Fire. Dec 26th, 2008 at 12:41 PM. My novelette, "Until the Pit is Dug for the Wicked" is up at The Future Fire. They say that the author is a poor judge of his own prose, but this one is probably my favorite work. Lots of explosions with the screaming and the biting and the hurting? On top of all that, I got the cover art, too! Merry Christmas to everyone, and Happy New Year. 4 comments Leave a comment. Dec 26th, 2008 05:46 pm (UTC). Right back at ya.

The Next Big Thing. December 27th, 2012. The Next Big Thing. By judemarie on December 28, 2012 Leave a Comment Edit. Boy that sounds very full of myself, doesn’t it? Perhaps it refers to the meme cycle itself, a wonderful blog roll of the best writers you’ve never heard of (or maybe you have.). I was tagged by the most fabulously talented Sandra Odell,. Clarion West 2010 classmate and awesome author, to be part of this. Let me to tell you about my current work-in-progress. Shall I be defined by genre?

Can you keep a secret? Sep 1st, 2012 at 7:25 PM. In fiction, characters laugh, giggle, chuckle, guffaw, cackle, snigger, chortle, and titter. They also snort. Snort? Yes, I know what a snort is. From Merriam-Webster:. To force air violently through the nose with a rough harsh sound. Even in short fiction, character after character snort. Lately, in what I’ve been reading, fictional characters snort a lot! Snorting is an involuntary action. Can anyone reading this make themselves snort on command? I think...
