Alani Rose’s Blog. My battle against Leukemia. A “Thriller” of a Day. April 2, 2009. I felt great this morning. The blood transfusion yesterday gave me heaps of energy! I watched Mum’s Thriller DVD which had all these cool songs on it and I danced in my underwear. I closed the curtins so no one would see me except mum and the nurses that came in. The Fellow Doctor (also a trainee doctor but they know more) and my doctor. My doctor is Mary and she has been treating AML kids, like me, since the 1970s.

Alani Rose’s Blog. My battle against Leukemia. Yesterday I started to learn how to ride a bike. We all went down to the local netball courts and I had a few goes at trying to balance. I was starting to get the hang of it and will have another go on the weekend. I also swam in Grandma’s pool which was nice.
