Bob and Glenda Update: July 2010

http://bobandglendaupdate.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 5, 2010. Tracy, Alan and Paige came down and spent a long weekend with us. We were so happy to see them. Paige grew up so much in the two months that we were in Juneau. Paige loved being outside and we had pretty nice weather. The flowers in the yard are looking beautiful. She looks like a little Amish girl in her little bonnet that I made her. Yeah, I'm one, well one and a half really! Tracy is careful to keep a hat and sunscreen on Paige because she has the skin of a little red hed!

Thursday, September 8, 2011. A Hot Day in Ferndale. Today it was a beautiful hot day in Ferndale. Temps are in the low 80's. We took Paige over to a fountain in downtown Ferndale where the kids play. She watched some other little kids get wet before she joined in the fun! Papa helps her get wet! We love living close and being able to spend time with our grandchildren. We will be headed to Oklahoma soon for some time with Hannah and Nathan. Being a grandparent is the greatest! Bob and Glenda Update.

She wanted to sit on Grandma's lap,she said "The hay can be kinda scratchy on my bum". She was the little cutest Scarecrow in the pumpkin field. Paige even led us through the corn maze. Next to the pumpkin field was a apple orchard and Paige pick a little apple to eat! We also visited the farm animals.

http://bobandglendaupdate.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 7, 2011. Another Wonderful 4th Of July. We had a great time celebrating both Bob's birthday and the country's birthday! We started out the day with the parade. Paige enjoyed the time waiting for the parade to start by just sitting back in her wagon, sipping water and watching the people walk by. It was a beautiful warm sunny day. One of the nicest day weather wise this year. After nap time and the parade Paige enjoyed some pool time. In Grandma and Papa's back yard. Bob and Glenda Update.

Friday, September 10, 2010. Tracy and Alan are Home. We went to the Vancouver Airport to pick up Tracy and Alan. We told Paige that Mommy and Daddy were coming home but she didn't seem to really understand. Then she first saw them she seemed surprised but once I put her in her mommy's arms she was all smiles. We waited over an hour and even though their plane was on time. Tracy first sees Paige. A happy Mommy and girl! Daddy and Paige are both glad to see each other too! Wednesday, September 8, 2010.

http://bobandglendaupdate.blogspot.com/2011/10/trip-to-east.html

Sunday, October 23, 2011. Trip to the East. We had a nice visit with Bob's family in New York. Binghamton had been hit hard by flooding and it was pretty sad to see all the damage in the neighborhood where Bob grew up. We were thankful that his sisters did not have any damage at their homes. We were very pleased to find Bob's mom doing much better then last time we were there in March 2010. She has moved to a different nursing home and seems to be much happy there. A Stop in Oklahoma. http://bobandglendaupdate.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 21, 2010. Today was a beautiful fall day so we headed to the pumpkin patch. The farm is called Stoney Ridge it is located just outside of Lynden. Tracy was the only one that had to pay and it was $2.00, Children under 3 are free and adults 55 and older are free. So it was a cheap outing! Paige wasn't to sure about the scarecrows! Grandma and Papa looked the part. They also had farm animals to look at. Oh I guess these weren't the right animals, but it was fun! Cute little baby pig!

http://bobandglendaupdate.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 12, 2012. Audrey visits Grandma's House. Paige has been taking dance classes and Audrey gets to come and have some one on one time with Grandma. She is so sweet and I just love playing with her. Here are a few photos of our time together! This basket is the basket I keep Audrey's baby toys in. She likes to get in little spaces so I put her in the basket and she was very happy! First we had to decorate our cupcakes. Then we made some crowns. And even better when you add some mashmallows.
