Wednesday, July 2, 2014. For 31 days I decided I was going to do something new, spontaneous, challenging, or difficult. This was inspired by Jessica Cox and the fact that I like to celebrate the entire month of my birthday. Day 2- Hiked alone in the woods and walked about a mile on rocks without shoes. Day 3- Used a chainsaw for the first time. Day 4- Shot an assault riffle for the first time. Day 6- Went running with Lucy in broad daylight at 10 pm. Day 7- Received a box of birthday goodies from Beaner!

Wednesday, October 22, 2014. It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas! Sunsets just get me every time. Make shift banana splits. This is a couple weeks before we got snow. Fall only occurs for about a month or so here. First big snow this year. Somehow my attitude has changed toward snow and I absolutely love it! Apparently this is a really big deal here. Just go grab snow, vanilla, and condensed milk. I am sold because you can have as much as you want. As long as you have snow of course.

Friday, November 28, 2014. Asha was so enthusiatic about carving pumpkins with me! The Northern Lights were not put in at this time, but they were suppose to be there above the mountains.
